The sloppy copy has been edited, which means we are just a few days away from printing and mailing. The sloppy copy is a mock-up that allows me to make final changes and to try and bang out any remaining rough edges. I have to draw one final map, then we're done. I'll drop the files off at Office Max on Sunday, pick them up on Monday, then mail on Tuesday. It feels good to have no. 8 almost out the door!
Looking ahead, no. 9 will have two, perhaps three, articles. Hex 005 will be rather brief, since it's a wilderness hex. "This Is L.A." (Basic Roleplaying) will continue and we'll also see what Abel Artone and Mora the Bauriar have been up to in Planescape.
